http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=5872 Summary: [XQTS] Predicate reordering in K-FilterExpr-51,52 Product: XML Query Test Suite Version: unspecified Platform: PC OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XML Query Test Suite AssignedTo: andrew.eisenberg@us.ibm.com ReportedBy: oliver@cbcl.co.uk QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org The essence of K-FilterExpr-51 is: ((0, 1, 2, "a", "b", "c")[. instance of xs:string][. treat as xs:string eq "c"] treat as xs:string) eq "c" which expects the answer "true". However, XQuery 2.3.4 quite explicitly states (giving a very similar example), that the predicates could be reordered and that it is acceptable for an implementation to raise a type error. K-FilterExpr-52 is similar. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
