http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=5471 Summary: RFC 2396 unreferenced in XQuery 1.0 Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Recommendation Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XQuery AssignedTo: chamberl@almaden.ibm.com ReportedBy: Paul.Cotton@microsoft.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org When checking the references to RFC 2396 in XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0, I discovered that the RFC is in the Normative References [1] but is NEVER referenced from within the document. I wonder if the reference should have been removed when the references were migrated to refer to RFC 3986? BTW I could not find this possible error in the XQuery errata document [2]. /paulc [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/REC-xquery-20070123/#id-normative-references [2] http://www.w3.org/XML/2007/qt-errata/xquery-errata.html Paul Cotton, Microsoft Canada 17 Eleanor Drive, Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6A3 Tel: (425) 705-9596 Fax: (425) 936-7329
