http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=5310 Summary: [UPD] Preserving order of inserted nodes Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLFO / XSLT Version: Last Call drafts Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Update Facility AssignedTo: andrew.eisenberg@us.ibm.com ReportedBy: mike@saxonica.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org In 2.4.1 Insert (and possibly elsewhere) it is stated that the order of the inserted nodes is preserved in the new document. This could be read as referring either to the order of these nodes in the sequence that results from evaluating SourceExpr, or to their position in document order. I suspect the former is intended.
