OK, I've now made the changes (but in an ad-hoc way that will require constant
maintenance as the test suite changes, for example it can only handle two
variables). But I still don't understand why this is necessary! Why can't the
test simply say

collection($input-context1)

and have the URI be passed as a parameter? Then the driver would only have to
fiddle with URIs, rather than fiddling with the source of the query.

It's a big step from saying the driver is allowed to change the query source to
saying that it must do so.
