The XSL WG today agreed wording to be added to the XSLT specification to define
the limitations on the use of extension attributes to influence serialization.

The XSL WG also agreed changes to the serialization spec to make it explicit
that implementations can define additional serialization parameters
(namespace-qualified). These changes need to be endorsed by the XQuery WG.
