http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=2294 Summary: MatchOption Policy (formerly Cluster D, Issue 12) Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Last Call drafts Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Full Text AssignedTo: sihem@research.att.com ReportedBy: jim.melton@acm.org QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org We need some indirection to specify match context, defaults "Thesaurus name" gives us a way to define a thesaurus, then specify it in the query - an indirection. Steve Buxton proposes there are many classes of things that are needed for context-match (stoplist, special characters, etc.) that need an indirection. So we need an extra level of indirection - a named policy that refers to a set of named things.
