http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=1304 Summary: [XQuery] Serialization parameter "version" should be implementation-defined Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT Version: Last Call drafts Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XQuery AssignedTo: chamberl@almaden.ibm.com ReportedBy: k.karun@oracle.com QAContact: public-qt-comments@w3.org In Appendix C.3 of the XQuery document the default value of the "version" serialization parameter is "1.0". This should be changed to be implementation-defined to be consistent with other serialization parameters and allow implementations to serialize the results using XML 1.1.
