With the April drafts as background:  
  
err:XPTY0006 in "XML Path Language (XPath) 2.0" is declared as "(Not currently  
used.)", but "XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 Functions and Operators, 2.5  
fn:base-uri" reads:  
  
"If the context item is not a node, an error is raised:[err:XPTY0006]XP"  
  
>From what I can tell, the description of the XPTY0006 error needs to be  
updated.
