Hi Quite apart from its limited novelty, "empty" is also a particularly poor name since A.3 of XPath lists "empty" as a reserved function name. It cannot therefore be used as a user-defined function without a namespace prefix. If there is an intermediate XPath-standard-defined function it should be explicitly described in the XPath syntax.
