Data Model Section 6.1 (Document Nodes): XML documents have "version" and 
"standalone" declarations. Do these declarations affect the data model in 
any way? Do these declarations have any interaction with the "version" 
parameter of serialization? Some combinations do not seem to make any 
sense. For example, can an input document in XML Version 1.1 be serialized 
using XML Version 1.0? Does the data model need to record the XML version 
from which it was derived?
