Dear Angel, We are delighted to welcome you to the W3C Publishing Community Group! Our community is known for its friendly, collaborative spirit and engaging, lively discussions across the spectrum of digital publishing topics. In addition to our general plenary sessions, we have several active task forces <https://w3c.github.io/publishingcg/#active-task-forces> where members can delve deeper into specific areas of shared interest. Currently, these include Accessibility, Anti-Counterfeiting, and Fixed Layout Accessibility, with a new task force focusing on digital comics about to launch. We are always open to starting new task forces when enough interest emerges for a new topic. Our next plenary is scheduled for January 29th at 5 pm UTC. The focus will be on documenting the best use cases for the Web Publication format, differentiating it from EPUB and other formats, and defining the conditions under which it is the optimal choice. We would greatly appreciate hearing testimonials from professionals who are currently using or considering the Web Publication format. To help us get started, please share a little about your background, experience, and areas of interest. We are also keen to know if there are any particular topics you would like to explore with the group.
