Dear Henry, A warm welcome to the W3C Publishing Community Group! We’re delighted to have you with us. Our community is friendly and collaborative, engaging in lively discussions on a wide range of topics in digital publishing. In addition to our plenary sessions, we run several task forces where members with shared interests explore specific subjects in greater depth. Our next plenary will take place on January 29th at 5 pm UTC to discuss and document what the web publication format is well-suited for, and to explore its distinction from EPUB and other formats, i.e., under what conditions it will be the best option. We would love to receive testimonies from professionals who use or are considering using the Web Publication format. Currently there are 3 active task forces <https://w3c.github.io/publishingcg/#active-task-forces>,: Accessibility, Anti-Counterfeiting, and Fixed Layout Accessibility. When new topics attract enough interest, we’re always open to launching additional task forces. One about digital comics is about to be launched. It would be great if you could share a few words about your background, experience, and areas of interest, and let us know if there are any particular topics you’d like to explore with the group.
