The 2025 activity of the Publishing Community Group focused on a special round of invited presentations, notably on AI in RS <https://w3c.github.io/publishingcg/Meetings/AIsessions/>, which demonstrated innovative, openly accessible, and responsible approaches to using AI in publishing. A second focus has been on specific publishing use cases, in the context of Brazil's National Textbook Program <https://w3c.github.io/publishingcg/Meetings/Minutes/2025-11-05-publishingcg.html>, which also nicely illustrated the factors that influence the choice between EPUBs and Web Publications. These thematic sessions highlighted practical experimentation with intelligent reading technologies and national-scale deployment of publishing workflows. We also cleaned and updated our documentation webpage <https://w3c.github.io/publishingcg/>. By 2026, we will resume regular monthly meetings with key discussions around uncommon and experimental digital publishing. The first will be on January 29th at 5 pm UTC to discuss and document what the web publication <https://w3c.github.io/wpub/> format is suitable for and explore its distinction from EPUB and other formats, i.e., under what conditions it will be the best option. We would love to get testimonies from professionals who use or think about using the Web Publication format. Please come and join us! We are open to receiving proposals for the other sessions of the year, which will take place on the last Thursday of each month at 5 pm UTC. *Gautier Chomel * *Head of Accessibility **& Quality Management* European Digital Reading Lab <http://www.edrlab.org/> | +33 6 77 32 96 98 | Schedule short meeting <https://calendar.app.google/wDrEGetrh5JK2NH3A>
