Publication of EPUB 3.3

Hi everyone,

I hope this email finds you well and enjoying the beginning of spring!

We are about to head into the final phase of publication for EPUB 3.3 and wanted to start a conversation about how we can get the news out to the industry around the world.

We are hoping you might provide some ideas, connections, and potentially content for us to release on the publication of EPUB 3.3. At this point, we think we’ll likely go to recommendation in the middle to end of May (May 18th or 23rd).

Some ideas we’ve had already include getting articles published in industry publications like Publisher’s Weekly, holding seminars for local industry (Shinya is doing this in Japan), and potentially speaking at conferences or having it mentioned in existing talks.

If you have any ideas or suggestions please let the chairs know, we’ll also likely discuss this at the next Steering Committee meeting.
