PBG co-chair

Dear Publishing Steering Committee members,

Following Rick Johnson announcement at the last Pub Sc call to step down from co-chairing the Publishing Business Group (see minutes[1]), another co-chair has to be found.

I am pleased to announce that we have a candidate!

Daihei Shiohama, President and CEO at Media Do International, Inc., with the support of the whole Japanese publishing industry, agrees to candidate for the position.

The PBG co-chairs already share support to Daihei candidacy.

For the sake of good process, Liisa and I will have to ask the whole PBG for the eventuality of any other candidacy.
Let us both know if you have any clues on that subject.


As we decided to cancel the Pub SC call of the 28th, we will reconvene on January 11th next year.
Meanwhile, I wish you all a happy holiday season.
