Hi, Perhaps another agenda item. In addition to the message below, Makoto writes: SC34 has already resolved to revise ISO/IEC TS 30135 for EPUB 3.0.1 (rather than 3.1) last year. EPUB 3.1 is not an option. <http://isotc.iso.org/livelink/livelink?func=ll&objId=17888925&objAction=Open> http://isotc.iso.org/livelink/livelink?func=ll&objId=17888925&objAction=Open We only have to consider EPUB accessibility. It may help in making decision. 1) Explain a new work item proposal in ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34/JWG7. 2) Submit the NWIP proposal together with EPUB accessibility 1.0 as a draft. 3) (Assuming that the NWIP passes), Create EPUB accessibility 1.1 as a report of the EPUB 3 CG. - The report should be publicly available. - The report is requred to follow the ISO/IEC directives. For example. use SHALL.. Do not use MUST. More about this, see http://isotc.iso.org/livelink/livelink?func=ll <http://isotc.iso.org/livelink/livelink?func=ll&objId=4230456&objAction=browse&sort=subtype> &objId=4230456&objAction=browse&sort=subtype 4) Explain the report in JWG7 and achieve consensus for a Proposed Draft Technical Specification 5) Start a PDTS ballot 6) Have a comment disposition meeting for the PDTS ballot, and write a comment disposition document 7) (Assuming that the PDTS ballot gets enough support), send the text to Geneva for publication. So, the biggest overhead for the BG/CG is 3). Regards, Makoto.
