On the last steering committee call we discussed the improbability of being successful this time, but that it was worth it to set us up for next year…. And who knows, it may happen!

    BTW as I previously noted, I think we may have a better shot at getting someone from Publishing onto the AB after we have more regular members from publishing industry. I see no reason Rick shouldn't run and that DAISY and others shouldn't push his candidacy (and with a great talk in Beijing who knows? - no pressure Rick 😉 ) but I do think it's a long shot until we have more full members focused on Publishing so I recommend we all approach it from that perspective - worth trying and could happen, but if not Rick please don't take it personally!
