RE: Identifying a book on the Web today

Thanks, Baldur

We have been maintaining a reading list at https://github.com/w3c/publ-wg/wiki/Reading-List.

It's difficult to track down links in the middle of GitHub threads.

Subject: Re: Identifying a book on the Web today

For the curious among you:

The closed issues for the spec in question provide an interesting reading: https://github.com/hvdsomp/signposting/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aclosed

This is a part of a larger effort called “Signposting the Scholarly Web” http://signposting.org

In particular, the conventions they outline look eminently sensible http://signposting.org/conventions/ and are something we should take care to maintain compatibility with, if not outright reuse for our purposes.
