All I have just come back online. What is happening is that everyone seems to notice a problem, /except myself/. My hg functions as normal so I was not even aware of any problem. So, apologies if I was not aware of it until I caught up with email. Whatever the effect, the cause is a trivial (to me) case change in file collections.png -> Collections.png, which I made to align the file name to what Luc had put in the DM. I could just as easily changed the link in the doc, had I suspected it would create such a havoc. Evidently I renamed the file locally without asking mercurial permission to do it. so to me this is a weakness of mercurial, but I can only apologise for the inconvenience caused. The DM reflects the correct state of things at this point. .svg file also in model/images for further editing -Paolo On 3/29/12 3:00 PM, Luc Moreau wrote: > > Simon, All, > > I am aware that there is a problem on hg which prevents us from updating. > I am trying to look into it with Tim. > We will keep you posted. > > Luc > > On 03/29/2012 02:55 PM, Miles, Simon wrote: >> Hello Paolo, Luc, >> Sorry for the techie mail, but the W3C Mercurial repository seems to have an error on Windows due to a file rename in the DM: >> abort: case-folding collision between model/images/collections.png and model/images/Collections.png >> This prevents me from doing update, so I cannot commit the latest primer. >> From looking online (below), it seems that this has to be corrected by someone using UNIX, and I would also prefer not to fiddle >> with a file someone else may be changing.
