Hi, The value of prov:label is specified to be of type xsd:string in Table 8 of [Attributes] and [prov:label] states it MUST be a string. However, [Example 48] shows language-tagged literals, which have datatype rdf:langString according to RDF 1.1 and are not of type xsd:string, thus conflict with Table 8. Given that rdfs:label supports multilingual labels, it seems reasonable that prov:label should be extended to allow them too. Possibly add note/erratum for Table 8 that “A Value of type xsd:string” should be “A Value of type xsd:string or rdf:langString”.
