Reading this privacy policy, I thought it was quite clear. There might be one point or two of shadow, but the rest is quite straight.

How we use the information we collect.
We use the information that we collect for the
following purposes:
* To make it available to you for download or
access via an Application Programming Interface
("API”).
* To send you requests from researchers who are
interested in accessing your data.
* To connect you with your Permitted
Researchers.
* To alert you to the latest developments and
features on our Service.
* To make your information available to
Permitted Researchers
* Geohashing. OpenPaths will create an
aggregation of the locations in our database to
assist researchers in understanding where our
users have been, and how much data we have about
given places. These "geohashes” have a resolution
of about 21 miles to avoid issues of personally
identifiable locations. For more information on
how these geohashes are calculated, you can visit
our FAQ.
We will not share or make available your personal
information to any third party except your
Permitted Researchers without your express
consent. We may use aggregated geohashing
information to produce and display graphics on the
Service for explanatory purposes.
