Hello all, I ran into this site today: http://privicons.org/ It's an effort to standardize ASCII based icons for specifying how the privacy of an e-mail should be treated by the recipient(s), codifying wishes such as "Confidential", "Don't print", "Burn after reading" etc. The idea is that any e-mail client can display the icons (as they're ASCII) and supporting email clients can give an extra visual hint or even disable print functionality (or at least give a confirmation "Do you really want to print this?"). This particular effort is targeted at electronic messaging but the site also has a "Background" section which brings together many other "Privacy icons" efforts, including Aza Raskin's proposed set of privacy icons. If people feel like continuing the effort of standardizing privacy icons for website this would be a great place to read what others have thought and said about the subject. Regards, Jens
