Are there any updates on this? I'm running into a similar issue where the user touches down on an element and then moves to a neighboring element while still touching. The `pointerover` and `pointerenter` events fire when the user touches the first element, but not when the user moves the pointer to the neighboring element. I would like to know when the pointer enters any element, regardless of whether the touch started in that element. (If the pointer element is a mouse instead of touch, this point and drag behavior does work as I expect.) -- GitHub Notification of comment by skedwards88 Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issues/178#issuecomment-1029023344 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
