-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Pointer Events Working Group Charter Extended Resent-Date: Tue, 30 Jan 2018 22:58:51 +0000 Resent-From: chairs@w3.org Date: Tue, 30 Jan 2018 23:58:11 +0100 From: Coralie Mercier <coralie@w3.org> To: w3c-ac-forum@w3.org CC: chairs@w3.org Dear Advisory Committee Representative, Chairs, The Pointer Events Working Group Charter [1] is hereby extended until 31 July 2018. While there are lots of issues and discussions, the vast majority are now discussions on "nice to have" additions, very specific special cases, and a few editorial changes to harmonize the language/structure used with other related specs. As a consequence, the Working Group would like to complete its W3C Recommendation by then. Information on how to participate in this group is available [2]. The group is currently chaired by Patrick Lauke (The Paciello Group). More information about the Pointer Events Working Group is available on the group home page [3]. If you should have any questions or need further information, please contact Philippe Le Hégaret <plh@w3.org>, W3C Project Management Lead. This extension follows section 5.2.5 of the W3C Process Document: https://www.w3.org/2017/Process-20170301/#charter-extension Thank you, For Tim Berners-Lee, W3C Director, Philippe Le Hégaret, Project Management Lead; Coralie Mercier, Head of W3C Marketing & Communications [1] https://www.w3.org/2012/pointerevents/charter/ [2] https://www.w3.org/2004/01/pp-impl/59096/join [3] https://www.w3.org/2012/pointerevents/ -- Coralie Mercier - W3C Marketing & Communications - https://www.w3.org mailto:coralie@w3.org +337 810 795 22 https://www.w3.org/People/CMercier/
