Hi Mike, During today's PointerEvents WG call [1], we talked about ways people can receive automaticnotifications ofthe group's Bugzilla bug changes. It appears the main options are: 1. Configure Bugzilla such that every change is automatically sent to the group's primary list (public-pointer-events). Disadvantage is extra "noise" for some subscribers. 2. Create a new list(e.g. public-pointer-events-bugs) and have Bugzilla automatically notify this new list of every change. 3. Determine who wants to be notified of every change and configure Bugzilla such that those people are automatically added to the Cc list when a New bug is created, thus those people will be notified of everychange. 4. When a New bug announcement is sent to our main list, if someone wants to track all changes for that specific bug, they just add themselves to the bug's Cc list. Are there any other good options? What do you recommend? All - if you have a preference for one of the above (or some combination), please speak up. My inclination is to create a new list as described in #2 above(this would also cover #3 above) and #4 "just works" as Bugzilla is configured now. -Thanks, Art [1] <http://www.w3.org/2012/11/27-pointerevents-minutes.html#item07> -------- Original Message -------- Subject: ACTION-5: find out how to auto-cc specific people or list on all bug updates [on Arthur Barstow (Pointer Events Working Group) Date: Tue, 27 Nov 2012 16:50:46 +0000 From: ext Pointer Events Working Group Issue Tracker <sysbot+tracker@w3.org> Reply-To: Pointer Events Working Group <public-pointer-events@w3.org> To: <art.barstow@nokia.com> ACTION-5: find out how to auto-cc specific people or list on all bug updates [on Arthur Barstow (Pointer Events Working Group) http://www.w3.org/2012/pointerevents/track/actions/5 On: Arthur Barstow Due: 1970-01-01 If you do not want to be notified on new action items for this group, please update your settings at: http://www.w3.org/2012/pointerevents/track/users/7672#settings
