Hello everyone, Our next meeting is this coming Monday. I know some people are still returning from their holiday and will be unable to attend. But we might still have critical mass. Here are some thoughts we should cover: - I have been informed that Safari does in fact support cICP. I'm going to try to update the Web Platform Test in a way that works for Safari. Perhaps I am currently doing something wrong. With that in place (and the eXIf-order test I bludged), we might have checked all the major boxes to wrap up Third Edition. Chris Lilley, could you either reply here or in our upcoming meeting with what our next steps are to finish Third Edition? - There are still a handful of issues listed under blocking-3rd-edition-cr <https://github.com/w3c/PNG-spec/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Ablocking-3rd-edition-cr> and blocking-exit-3rd-ed-cr <https://github.com/w3c/PNG-spec/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3Ablocking-exit-3rd-ed-cr> . - Are any of them hard blockers or are they just stylistic / would-be-nice? - If the latter, push on any ones you want to get done before we hit a freeze. - If the former, let's call them out and focus on them. - Are there issues not yet labelled in there which should be blockers? - Don't forget to review Chris Lilley's gain map proposal <https://github.com/w3c/PNG-spec/issues/380>. We'll talk about it in the meeting. - I think it may be similar to other not-immediately-viewable-like-rgb channels (motion vectors, normal maps, etc.) I hope you all had a great break. Talk to you Monday!
