Hey Léonie. On 11/11/2014 04:43 AM, Léonie Watson wrote: > Out of curiosity, would it be difficult for a screen reader to treat aria-current in the way it does a landmark role (for example)? I'm thinking about the ability to move to a landmark with a shortcut and/or call up a dialogue listing all the landmarks on the page? No more difficult than doing what I'm proposing. The difference between what I've been proposing and what you are asking about above is that my proposal assumes the check is done automatically (e.g. when focus changes). In yours, it would only be done on demand (e.g. when the user executes a command). So if the responsibility of locating the aria-current item will fall upon ATs to sort it out, only doing it on demand is clearly preferable. --joanie
