1. Under the characteristics table for aria-checked - the used in roles row does not include checkbox and radio - but this state clearly is used in these roles. The public uses these characteristic tables to determine which roles they can use a state in. Please includes these roles in the table. 2. In some situations authors may use navigation structures of links that do not use a tab role. The navigation structures may not use the tab role because the tab role is not fully supported by AT or may imply keyboard behaviors that the site does not wish to use. When this occurs there is no way to use ARIA to indicate that a particular link (navigation item) is selected or active. This requires authors to fall back on off-screen or clipped CSS text. It would be great if there was a way for authors to apply something like aria-selected or aria-active in these situations to indicate that a particular navigation item is the item that selected.
