Elaborating on http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-pfwg-comments/2008JanMar/0076.html HTML5 specifies drag and drop markup and APIs that were first implemented in IE (well predating ARIA) and have since been implemented in WebKit and Gecko. http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/#dnd Both ARIA and ARIA Best Practices are totally silent on the relationship of the ARIA drag and drop attributes and HTML drag and drop. http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-wai-aria-20090224/#dragdrop http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/WD-wai-aria-practices-20090224/#dragdrop Please indicate clearly what the relationship is.
