An update for you all on the secret of good comedy (timing)... I've been practicing the slides, and they were just under 18 minutes as they are. I also used them as part of another internal presentation on our work again today (which got some good questions, and I think was received with interest). I noticed some small things that need tweaking, so will be on that, and will practice it again. If it comes out as 18 minutes again I'm inclined to leave it as-is, without moving/removing any slides. I actually thought it would be way longer than that.
