TPAC

   <CharlesL> scribe: janinia

   <CharlesL> chair: sharon

bg: Request in for Thursday morning (Eastern). Still awaiting response.

[discussion of agenda for proposed mtg]

becky: recalling question re micro-formats from TAG

   ss: later on the agenda

js: suggests our agenda is :
. 1.) Have we satisfied concerns over moving forward to CR/PR?
. 2.) Support for reserved prefix request to WHAT-WG

Explainer - https://w3c.github.io/personalization-semantics/

   ss: Expecting some minor updates--redlining

Requirements - https://raw.githack.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/requirements-punctuation-edits09-29/requirements/index.html

ss: Chls found a few items, now fixed

   bg: OK now

   js: +1

ss: So, Roy should go ahead and pub

Tag issue - https://github.com/w3ctag/design-reviews/issues/476

ss: This is re response to tTAG

   <sharon> http://microformats.org/wiki/microformats2

ss: Seems focussed to html, and supercede microdata and rdfa
   ... limited support for parsers
... they say: "incorporate lessons learned from microdata and rdfa"
   ... intended to simplify

bg: So how do our requirements extend their spec?

ss: limited vocab, and still in draft
   ... unclear how active

   js: is it W3C?

bg: seems specific to their existing vocab

   <becky> http://html5doctor.com/microformats/

   bg: also about broader applicabioitn
... tantec suggested not good fit

ss: looks at fcomment re qutocomplete; that it overlaps at 100%

cl: we did that on purpose

bg: but we go beyond form fields

   ss: we reuse them

   cl: yes

ss: we should reference the video with our examples

bg: add a bit about tools that will consume: extensions, aac tools; we're enabling additional ui
... looks at overlapping but distinct users, suggesting separating them out?

   ss: we did that

bg: but where intersections arecL: notes epub3 now chartered; publishing now including media

js: notes epub a major consumer of our spec

bg: also a good reason microformats doesn't fit

js: suggests drafting responses and forwarding to TAG

bg: will try to have it ready for planning call

   ss: anything else?
