I have updated the explainer draft. You can view it at https://raw.githack.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/explainer-compare/explainer.html <https://raw.githack.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/explainer-compare/explainer.html>. It is in the explainer-compare branch (https://github.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/tree/explainer-compare <https://github.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/tree/explainer-compare>). It still needs work. Changes: I added the simple mail send example into the introduction as I felt it gives an overview of the types of changes that can be made. This was previously in the Use Case section. I added the use cases from the TAG explainer into the Use Case section. Note that I did make a few changes. 1) I removed the image of the Bliss symbolic mapping. I thought it was too hard to read and to understand. 2) I removed the first image of the Wiki How Firefox example - I wasn’t quite sure what it was meant to represent. I left the other Wiki How images that were better explained. 3) I integrated Janina’s updated Note about data- into the existing note in the 4. Vocabulary section. Note that this needs more formatting. I did what I could without knowing the W3C rules and styling. 1) It may be good to call out the examples within the use cases as was done using indenting and font/color change in the wiki. 2) I believe the images need to be pulled into github - they are currently linked to in github user content area which I assume is not sufficient for this document. 3) the images need better sizing/formatting 4) I did NOT update the note in the vocabulary section with Janina’s updated text. The generic note seemed okay to me for this explainer document It still think that section 1.4 - Technology Comparison should be moved into Section 4 - Vocabulary unless there is a reason it must be in section 1. -becky Becky Gibson Sr. Accessibility Strategist Knowbility.org The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Co-Chair, Accessible Platform Architectures http://www.w3.org/wai/apa
