I have updated the definitions for distractions and condensed the terms to the 4 terms we are now considering Note these have Lisa’s definitions for Offer and third-party which we will work on next week on improving. Here is the Values Table https://raw.githack.com/w3c/personalization-semantics/rewrite-prototype/content/index.html#values Here is the Distractions main module https://w3c.github.io/personalization-semantics/content/index.html#values-3 Thanks EOM Charles LaPierre Technical Lead, DIAGRAM and Born Accessible Twitter: @CLaPierreA11Y Skype: charles_lapierre On Dec 9, 2019, at 8:18 AM, John Foliot <john.foliot@deque.com<mailto:john.foliot@deque.com>> wrote: Thanks Charles, I also captured from our meeting the following edits, that both received a number of +1's from those in attendance. sensory: Non-essential distracting content that includes movement, sound or other forms of sensory feedback. This includes: moving images (videos, animated GIFs,etc.); content that starts automatically or is automatically updating; and elements that change locations or generate audio feedback on the user's system without user interaction. messages: Communication (auditory or visual) sent to or left for the user or the interface that allows interaction of text-based messages. Messages may also be automaticaly updating. Essential system messages should not be tagged as distractions. This includes but is not limited to WebRTC.
