Original Hi Folks, The introduction at https://w3c.github.io/personalization-semantics/#introduction seemed out of date. How about the following: This section is non-normative. The goals of this specification include: Allow users to optimize their interaction experience according to their personal preferences or accessibility needs. Improving the inclusion of the internet, by expanding the information that may easily be supplied by the author; Enable new group of users to interact with web content . This specification has been designed to allow the author to specify key semantics needed to support users with cognitive impairments. However, it will also enable more technologies and extensions that allow improved user experience for many user groups.
