Hi, I would like to test the feasibility of using w3id persistent IRIs instead of what we were previously proposing to use in our community (purl.org). The purl.org server operated by OCLC has had the login disabled for over a week now with no response on when it will be operational again. Our community and others I have talked to in the semantic web community have some general concerns with the reliability and stability of using purl.org for persistent IRIs. Therefore, we would like to provide our community with using w3id as a better option and plan to incorporate this resource into our process for IRI design and persistence. I have submitted a pull request as directed by the instructions here: https://github.com/perma-id/w3id.org/pull/141 For now, I have only submitted two different .htaccess files for https://w3id.org/xapi/adl and https://w3id.org/xapi/adl/verbs We plan to submit several more batches if this appears to be a better option than using purl.org. What is the typical turn-around time for processing w3id persistent IRI requests? Thank You!
