Agent payments protocol? (AP2)

Hi all,

Someone pointed me to this recent proposal from the Google Cloud org:

Does anyone on this list has context about how this effort might intersect with agent commerce on the web?  I don’t see much reference to browsers or the web in these docs, so I was wondering how involved the Google Chrome team was in this effort.
