Dear Web Payments Working Group, As mentioned on this list [1], the WG has secured approval to publish Secure Payment Confirmation as a Candidate Recommendation. After discussion with the Chairs and the W3C Communications Team, we recommend issuing a press release, accompanied by testimonials from W3C Members and group participants, with the publication. ACTION REQUEST: Please begin conversations within your organizations about contributing a roughly 1-paragraph testimonial to accompany the press release. Please see our testimonial guidelines [2]. Here is a recent example of a press release with Member testimonials: https://www.w3.org/2022/07/pressrelease-did-rec.html.en Please let me know at your earliest convenience whether your organization would be interested in contributing a testimonial. Here is a draft timeline to publication: * 22 May: We will share a draft press release with you that will not be public, but that you may circulate within your organizations to help shape your testimonial. * Around 6 June: Public the SPC CR with press release and testimonials.
