Interledger Workshop and Hackathon - Berlin, 1-2 June

Hi all,

The Interledger Community Group has organized a workshop and hackathon in
Berlin on 1 and 2 June.

https://www.eventbrite.com/e/interledger-workshop-at-blockchain-expo-1-2-june-berlin-tickets-34221014977

One of the challenges at the hackathon will be to build both a Web-based
and a native payment app that handle PaymentRequest API calls from the
browser.

These will use the Interledger payment method as defined here:
https://w3c.github.io/webpayments/proposals/interledger-payment-method.html

The payment apps will process the payment through the live "Interledger" (a
network of people running Interledger nodes [1]) and also some commercial
partners who will be part of the event and hosting Interledger-conforming
APIs.

This is an open invitation to anyone in the WG (or your companies) to
attend the workshop and/or hackathon. Simply register using the link above.

If you are unable to attend but are interested in the work with the WG APIs
and have an implementation or app you'd like us to use as input for the
hackathon please let me know.

Thanks to Rouslan and the Google team for helping to get Interledger
support into Chrome Canary for Android for this event!

If any other browser vendors are looking for payment app implementations or
implementation feedback on the Payment Request and Payment Handler APIs
we'd be happy to test on your browsers at the hackathon too, just let me
know how we can facilitate this.

Space in the venue is limited so please register soon to avoid missing out.

Adrian
