To be clear, the reason I'm -1 on the original proposal, which was "Postpone release of an HTTP API FPWD until the messaging schemas have stabilized." is because we're not doing anything right now to stabilize the messaging schemas, thus pushing the HTTP API out to an unknown timeframe.
