Hey all, As discussed during the Web Payments WG call last week, I've added experimental definitions for 'payment app', 'payment method', and 'payment method data'. They are marked as experimental. The commit is here: https://github.com/w3c/webpayments-ig/commit/351af8769c4368469af21fcb48e7aeed5b4fd20b The Web Payments WG editors plan to start using the new terminology in the WG specs. The IG and WG still need to discuss the accuracy and relevance of the new language. You can view the new definitions in the Web Payments IG common terms list (look for 'payment app', 'payment method', and 'payment method data'): http://w3c.github.io/webpayments-ig/latest/common/terms.html The terms are automatically pulled into any spec that references them correctly: http://w3c.github.io/webpayments-ig/latest/glossary/ Note: There is a caching bug in github pages that won't load the old terms list unless you go to terms.html and force a reload.
