Re: Payments request cryptocurrencies support

Yes, it is almost the same as the implementation that I was thinking about.

Yes. I propose to add new payment method for bitcoin. As payment details merchant can path bitcoin invoice. As payment result payment app can return transaction hash. Also, it may be extended for other popular cryptocurrencies Litecoin, Etherium. I can write in details how it can work for cryptocurrencies if it needed.

Same with most of other cryptocurrencies. For example, now for interaction between merchants and payment apps in Bitcoin special URL scheme is used, but no one can control what apps can implement this scheme. I tend to believe that cryptocurrencies support can be implemented like https://www.w3.org/TR/payment-method-basic-card/ <https://www.w3.org/TR/payment-method-basic-card/>.

Ok (That is: a short string hosted by W3C.)

Have you seen Google’s

Android payment app integration into Android web browsers

To help with the upcoming discussion, I think the model we have in mind is that payment-method specifics will be expressed
via individual payment methods (rather than in the Payment Request API directly).

It sounds like you proposal is that W3C work on a new payment method for bitcoin. Is that accurate?
