Would like to discuss powering the R/F ad measurement use cases. R/F is about counting  (estimating) unique people to help advertisers optimize spend across multiple channels and reduce waste (overexposure) of ads.

While there are some similarities to the multi-touch-attribution problem, like for example, relying on device / platform identifiers, or other identification frameworks, to deduplicate users and impressions across platforms, there are some unique challenges and requirements of the problem that may be worth considering when designing future proof privacy preserving solutions.

The World Federation of Advertisers has been hosting a x-media measurement working group which has designed and started implementation of a proposal to enable x-media privacy preserving measurement of R/F, and is exploring ways to extend it to work on & leverage future privacy preserving device platform APIs.

A possible sub-agenda could look like:

Intro to the r/f problem
Overview of current solutions
WFA solution overview
Possible ways to extend the WFA solution to leverage privacy preserving device platform APIs.
