Dear Bijan, Thank you for your message <http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-owl-wg/2009Jan/0100.html> on the OWL 2 Web Ontology Language last call drafts. The working group has discussed adding annotations to modify or supplant the standard meaning of OWL 2 axioms at several times. The working group has decided not to incorporate this kind of ability via annotations or other means. The working group does not intend to add the ability to hide axioms into OWL 2. Therefore the working group does not intend to make any changes to its documents in response to this comment. Please acknowledge receipt of this email to <mailto:public-owl-wg@w3.org> (replying to this email should suffice). In your acknowledgment please let us know whether or not you are satisfied with the working group's response to your comment. Regards, Peter F. Patel-Schneider on behalf of the W3C OWL Working Group
