The explaining text below the second example is

Perhaps you should not write "circular", since this is only obvious to the
reader for the first of the two examples. Both examples are clearly
non-tree-like, that should suffice to write. Or perhaps write something
like: "circular or diamond-shaped, respectively, ..."?
