I recently received information on how the XML Schema WG is going to provide a name for the date/time datatype that can be used in OWL. peter --- Comment #7 from C. M. Sperberg-McQueen <cmsmcq@w3.org> 2008-12-22 15:53:50 --- The wording proposal mention in comment 6 was adopted by the XML Schema WG at its telcon of 19 December 2008, with two amendments: (1) the new datatype is named "dateTimeStamp" instead of "timezonedDateTime", and (2) the new facet is named "explicitTimezone" instead of "explicitOffset". An editorial change to the usage note about time zones and zone offsets has also been made. The changes are reflected in the current status-quo proposal at http://www.w3.org/XML/Group/2004/06/xmlschema-2/datatypes.html (member-only link)
