One of the more tedious planning chores is populating time lines, or the related task of start and end points of intervals. With a 4 high stacking, or a 4 wide packing (16x1) of "quads" or quarters in an appropriate coordinate system, this chore becomes considerably easier. http://www.rustprivacy.org/2014/balance/opers/ There is a catch. You have to be measuring scalar quantities not frequencies (the (square root 2)/2 is the scalar in that case). Probability Distributions (Normal, "Bell Curves") do not stack (the amplitude is 40% of Range). This is a problem for Work-Life Balance because the 8 hr workday or the 12 hr "Continental" shift do not relate to sleep needs.
