Hi, Apologies for the delay in circulating this summary of our call on 26th April. But here's a link to the video and a summary of the key suggestions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VPnudTDeco&feature=youtu.be The call was a discussion around the hand-off between discovery of an opportunity and then participating, which may involve booking. We discussed a variety of different types of information that might be important to participants, which we don't yet have covered in the specification and/or primer: * whether an event is free, for members only, or has a price * whether an event has been cancelled * who is leading or coaching a session, as distinct from the organiser * payment methods, particularly if someone has to pay on arrival * instructions for attending the meeting, e.g. "what to bring", "how to find the event", etc * event capacity We also discussed: * variety of ways in which pricing information might be communicated, and the need to use a mixture of open and personal data to create an accurate price * differences between communicating availability for facilities vs classes. Facilities can be more complex * issues around sharing of personal data, e.g. contact details for organisers, coaches, etc. The key actions are: * revise the specification and primer to document new fields for covering participation requirements * explore how the Schema.org "offers" property can be used to communicate basic pricing hints, e.g. min/max price * recommend to the wider OpenActive project that there needs to be additional guidance around managing and publishing personal data.
