Announcement: the Adam Kilgarriff Prize

The Adam KIlgarriff Prize will not be awarded this year. The Trustees received a number of applications, many representing projects and data which were very impressive in their own ways. However, after much discussion, we decided — unanimously, though with regret — that none of the submissions was sufficiently well aligned with the aims of the Adam Kilgarriff Prize. It’s a disappointing outcome, but we are confident that the Prize will continue to be a benchmark for excellence, and we look forward to launching its sixth iteration in early 2026.
