Dear Ontolex members,
As I wrote in February, I am leading a dictionary project for French
language based on French Wiktionary data and other published material. This
project, funded by a branch of the French Ministry of Culture aims to be an
app with a contributive aspect to enhance existing resources with new data
and dedicated discussions about the content. Our main focus is to tag
properly the geographical uses, for form, definition and example.
I am glad to share the first version of our ontology:

This ontology is based on Lemon Ontolex, Lexinfo and Lexicog. We plan to
set all our data in an open repository, before September. We are open to
share our work (ontology and vocabulary) and we may be interested to work
on a broad interlingual work. I am also interested to participate to
document Ontolex and other related ontologies in French, if needed.
Our team is made up of Jean Delahousse, independant consultant, who drove
the foundation of the ontology and vocabulary. Antoine Bouchez, intern
trained in lexicography, who sat up the domains and glossaries, and
documented the vocabularies. Noé Gasparini, linguist/lexicographer, who
designed and documented the ontology, and designed the vocabularies.
We are interested by your feedback.
I am available to discuss and explain the choices we made.
Best regards,
Noé Gasparini
