The Global WordNet Association is happy to announce the release of English WordNet 2019. This is a novel open-source wordnet for English developed as a fork of the Princeton WordNet and fully backwards-compatible with the Princeton WordNet. This version of the wordnet contains over 3,500 changes that include updates to the definitions, examples, relations of synsets of over 2,000 synsets as well as the addition of 800 new lemmas. The English WordNet is available in three formats: - WordNet LMF <https://en-word.net/static/english-wordnet-2019.xml.gz> - RDF data based on the OntoLex-Lemon Model <https://en-word.net/static/english-wordnet-2019.ttl.gz> - Princeton-WordNet-compatible Database Files <https://en-word.net/static/english-wordnet-2019.zip> In addition, a search and linked data interface is available at https://en-word.net/ English WordNet 2019 is being developed under an open source model on GitHub <https://github.com/globalwordnet/english-wordnet>, contributions are welcome in line with the scope <https://github.com/globalwordnet/english-wordnet/blob/master/README.md> and guidelines <https://github.com/globalwordnet/english-wordnet/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md> of the project.
